Normally I am not drawn to photos with humans, but this one does it for me. The interaction of the two kinds make this nature photo a whole lot more. It gives a great focal point, it adds scale and its gives a serene feel. I also like your POV with the leaves framing the scenery.

Love this ... I like too, the way the sun just hits certain areas within the foliage of the trees, but mostly I like the way the two kids are illuminated so well in the their white clothing. Perfect that they were wearing white. (I see one has left his bucket off to the side :)

hello Shelly This shot reminds me of Southern England and a place called Watersmeet. It is a secluded shady valley with a gentle river flowing through it. There is also a cafe where you can have scones with strawberry jam and cornish cream. Thanks for the memory. The seclusion and peacefulness is very evident.

The lighting here is simply superb, I really like your choice of composition. Such fresh tones, looks quite naturally framed, the mixture of shadows and highlights works really well too. Your DOF looks very sufficient for this shot, the kids seem nice and clear. Well spotted my friend.

Shelly, an idyllic setting and even better photographic canvas! I too live within the confines of the Ohio Valley and we have indeed had a very kind summer compared to the norm.
