[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is one of the most amazing places we have ever visited. The light and colors in this slot canyon change by the minute depending on the penetration of daylight through small openings above. The major challenge was to photograph in a place where there were many tourists - fortunately at this moment I caught a scene without people in it.

Beautiful Gerald! Absolutely beautyful.
I also love the light and the way the sun comes shining in there... Great textures in the stone walls and I love the way this is built up... as if it were all layers, from light to dark....

Great one!
Cheers,
Anneke

Hi Gerald, good capture of the light I really don't know what you could have used to give a sense of scale as people would spoil this image.

very good amazing "allah o akbar"
means god is big all these created by god

Hi Gerald,
I've been to Petra where the rock formations are colourfully exotic, but is just extraordinary. That shaft of light just emphasizes the fabulous colour variants and wind-hewn shapes. A great image.
Best wishes,
Celina

les couleurs sont incroyables !!!! c'est fantastique !! tres belle capture de la lumiere

Hi Gerald, an incredible catch here for the colors and compo! Great shot overall. TFS.

Beautiful capture, Gerald. I have seen another shot at this spot, where someone tossed some of the dirt up into the light, so the light rays were accented.

Excellent colors and exposure. Great DOF.

TFS,
David
