[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A storm was moving over Sedona. I found these statues of horses. Their slightly off shape seemed to match the clouds that afternoon.

like some view from a different planet... thanks.

Hi Adrienne,
its an excellent composition
Karl

Beautiful image, and your composition is excellent!

Beautiful, amazing rythms and drama in those spotted clouds, excellent point of view from a little below looking up, with the sculpture horse's nose pointing up to the clouds the viewer sees, warning of the on-coming storm. Nice silhouette effect on the sculpture while also getting a sense of their texture, strong composition with the horses in the right half, excellent contrasts and wonderful balance and sense of vastness with the inclusion of the rocky mountains in the background. Sedona is truly a beautiful place, I am glad you got the opportunity to visit AZ (I lived there for almost 8 years). Beautiful and dramatic, TFS!
