[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi all, Still struggling with my settings in Photoshop amongst other things on the computer since my major crash at the weekend, so just a simple shot of the wife at Sedona back in June, a little fill flash was used for this, and i'm going to get a smack round the head for putting this on the site, she hates it!

PP Resized, levels adjusted and resharpened.

Cheers

Dean.

(edit)BTW, this was very close to sunset, hence the darkness in the middle ground.

Yeah, most wives hate pics of themselves....except when they look back and realize how beautiful they were and didn't know it! I like this, I might drag it into my program and play around with it! and post in WS in a minute!
B-)...she's a beauty!

Hi Dean, nice to see your wife here... have you had that slap around the head yet ? lol.

Ok, looking at this, I feel you have cut half of your wife off... would have been better if you got the whole body in, or just head and shoulders I feel...do you see that ?

Otherwise its fine, I like the capture of the mighty rocks in the background, nice light in the upper left.

As for your wife not liking it, if its herself she is worried about, tell her, she looks lovely, but I feel its the way you have taken it, that probably puts her off this one.... just my thoughts.... as I see it from my end.

Thanks and regards
Dawn
p.s. hope you have your computer all sorted, sorry to hear of the crash.(computers who would have them!! frustrating things they are!)

Hi Dean,
Nice to meet Mrs Dean again, your wife looks great and so do the rocks in the BG, I don't like the area where your wife is standing or the fact that she is missing her legs, maybe if it had been possible to stand her nearer to the fence across the road or if not a busy road actually stand in the middle of the road, this would then get rid of the potholes and the bank to the left and you could have maybe kept the legs in shot too, I have to disagree with Dawn though about cropping the bottom off the shot.
Sorry to be so critical.
Tfs Andy.

P.S I hope the smack don't hurt too much LOL

Actually, Dean, I felt that there was too much road on the shot here as well as the wifey being cut midsection. The scenery here is breathtaking and maybe a pan shot (with no more than just a smidgeon of road) would have been the ticket. If this is received post-mortem, then hello to your wife ;)
