[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Train bridge crossing Town Lake in Tempe, AZ. The lake resides in the basin of what was once a river that stretched all the way to the Pacific. Thanks to dams, there is no river anymore. A few years ago, the town decided to build a lake here (in the desert!) to make the place look nicer. It loses 1.7 million gallons per day from evaporation, and now algae is starting to take over.
