The title already was speaking to my imagination - and this photo really captures the essence of the landscape.The light is beautiful with the stormy sky as a BG.
Hope your hike was not interupted by this storm.

This is superb use of light to capture this effect. Gives stark contrast of the cactus with the dark ominous clouds in the BG.

Hi David,
I always love a storm, and this picture does not disappoint. Fabulous detail in the cactus--looks like someone took a bite, and then did some target practice. I love the advancement of the dark clouds. Makes me want to set my face to the wind!
