[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The famous red rocks of Sedona, Arizona and the equally famous Catholic Chapel which is visited by many on a daily basis.
The chapel in Sedona is an architectural marvel. As one approaches Sedona by road, the chapel can be seen perched high up on a hill side, seemingly part of the red rock basin.
As one parks in the parking lot and looks up,the sheer simple beauty of this building growing out of the rocks is simply marvellous.

The building design is one of simplicity and elegance. Two slabs of concrete joined in the centre by dark coloured plate glass. No other adornment is necessary, sitting as it does as part of nature's design.
Tomorrow I will post a straight on view of the chapel.

Hello, Joni -
This is really a fine composition showing off this unusual structure surrounded by Sedona's wild and natural beauty. Your slightly upward-looking POV shows architecture well and leaves the rock cliffs and brush to fill most of the frame. Warm natural colors, sharp details. Well done.

Hello Joni,
what a lovely placement of subject you have here. Very unique and very interesting. The colour of the hill is also excellent in giving the impact to the shot. The digonal compo of the sky and earth relly captivating: blue and red.
Excellent composition and well designed shot.
