[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After spending a couple of hours in Rattlesnake Canyon my Navajo guide took me back to Upper Antelope Canyon. The crowds had subsided a bit and we were able to wait for the sun to be in the right position to catch "the bear". Also the small hole to the left only lights up at the same time. For those not familiar with Antelope Canyon it is a slot canyon that has been carved through the sandstone by millions of years of flash floods. The patterns are absolutely amazing and a photographer's dream.

This is exquisite Phil. Seeing this makes me want to re-visit the Antelope Canyon. Fantastic colors, there is good exposure management. I can't offer any suggestions as to how to improve the composition as it appears flawless. But I think processing with Photomatix (HDR) will enhance the hidden details. Well done and my complements. You bet Phil, you also travelled to this place ,how long have been away , anyway the canyon is famous for the great photographs taken there , you nailed that one just perfectly , love the tints on the smooth kind of polished rock surface , the light is sublime too , tfs,

Hi Phil,
Great photo.
Tones and shapes are just perfect.
I wouldn't HDR this one because the texture is just right as it is.

Hi Phil,
I like how you have captured all the different colours & textures with such sharp details. I really like those dark shadows as they definately show up your perfect capture of the natural light & its effect on these canyon walls. Looks like it was really worth hiring a guide, just to get away from the crowds,a great shot, well done.

Hello Phil,
What a spectacular capture of this colorful and finely textured sandstone creation. This has to be the best I have ever seen of this exact location. The small opening-hole has the perfect lighting to show the detail on its floor and to allow the line of the walls to be exhibited to the audience.
A Real Beauty here, as have all your latest works been also.
Have A Great Weekend...
Steve
