[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another shot of the white egret I found in a quiet cove in the San Francisco bay. Fortunately, the water seems cleared of the recent oil spill, but I hope his dinner isn't polluted. The other image is here . Don't worry, I won't post the dozens of shots I took:)

PP: adjusted contrast, sharpened, resized, added border.

This is my favorite shot of 2007 (or one of them!) because I was so pleased to find this beautiful egret unharmed by the recent oil spill in the SF Bay. (Also, I once found one of these beautiful birds hanging out in my backyard!) I especially like the "pose" in this image.

Super shot. Perfect detail on this lovely bird. The water in BG sets him up clearly. Great composition. Well done.

Very delicate and beautiful egret photo. The criscrossed legs and its reflection are very attractive. There is good balance, depth, and exposure. Greetings! Danilo

Karen my opinion is that this one is the better of the two. Much sharper image of the birds head. I like the contrast with the rippley water.
