[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Okay, after two realistic postings of the egrets I photographed recently, I was ready for some experimenting again:) This was my first attempt at superimposing one image over another. I finally figured out the "blending" part, but of course didn't stop there. There were several variations that I found interesting, some that looked like Asian tapestry, some that looked like ghost egrets, and then this...a "moonlight" look. The egret in the front (barely visible) is the superimposed one from a portrait image, and the one in the back is from a landscape view. I added a little extra light on that one. In actuality, they are both the same egret, taken in different poses. The reedy grass was made even more wild and cluttery-looking by the pp work, but also indicates the natural protective cover where the egret was wading.

For the TL members who are photo purists, just close your eyes and don't look at this one! Oops, too late...hehe.

PP: superimposed and blended two photos, used gradient layer effect, added poster edges for even darker look, used lighting effects filter, resized, added border.

(Thanks, Janos, for the blending instructions!)
