These ducks seem to have made a big splash:)

Actually, I was experimenting again. This time I used a Photoshop plug-in filter that creates various watery effects. Some of the adjustments for these ripples were a bit tricky, so I juggled them around a lot to keep the ducks in the center and to avoid distorting them along with the water. I think the main ripple is now too close to the edge at the bottom, but I was drained by the time I got this far...hehe.

PP: used Redfield water ripples filter, dodged the male duck's head a bit to bring out a little more of his color, resized, added border.

Cheers. LuDivine

Wow! I'm new at workshops (as of last weekend!) and I am so impressed with all of the things you can do with photos..... and I was thinking; "how in the world did she capture this! Drop the ducks? LOL Great work. I can't wait to learn more about the art of digital photography as it's certainly a different art form!

tfs, Lisa

Great idea Karen.
This effect really steps up the mood of this frame,
Very interesting to see how the ripple effect plays out closer to the sides. Very cool.
Nice one!

The neet ripples have ripples/texture - great effort - yea those mallards made a big splash, oh yes the ducks are well done also. Two ducks in a pond are ho hum but with this effect they are special.

I like what you have done with the water. The ducks look like they were meant to be in that ripple. Nice job,
