[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another shot taken of a shipyard at sunset a couple evenings ago. In this one, I added some extra shadows echoing the tall onboard cranes.

PP: used an extra plug-in filter for my new Photoshop CS3 to create the shadow effects, resized, sharpened, added border.

Hi Karen
One could call it a materpiece, a piece of art. Great PP work, you have done a creative work here, my compliments.
Regards
Jens.

ok, this pov more drama than the other one ,but both good on its own

Hi Karen!
Beautiful compo, nice sunset and amazing crane's silouette! Very warm light in contrast with the dark shadows; this works very well. But I'm sorry to say that the shadow effects you did, to me, do not add anything to the original shot.
Greetings,
Dario

Hi Karen !
another very good effort. Again, excellent mood here.
Personally though, I'm thinking the shadows may not have been necessary - because it's a good shot in it's own right..
But that's just my opinion :-)

Well done.
Best regards, Daniel

merhaba dear karen
excellent silhouettes and colours.well done.

I think this is awesome Karen.
That location seems to have some inspiring views for you!
I'm not sure the shadow works for me too, but mainly
because i like the color of the sky and want to see more of it in the frame.
Still it's a great original work.
Congratulations!
- Vincent

Hi Karen,

Great composition, nice sky and lovely colors. Like the way you added the shadows, works well. Great posting!

Regards,

Edwin

Hi Karen

You know I really think your base image is great, good composition and excellent capture of the silhouettes of the cranes.

In all honesty I don't think it needed the 'shadow' PP, it almost seems to say that the original photograph wasn't good enough and needed something else.

Very eyecatching though, great colours too.

Really interesting piece of artwork here!I'll bet you could get a shipping company to buy this piece! Really excellent silouette with bold colors!
