[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is another shot taken last summer at the docks where I found large piles of coiled rope in disuse. The frayed condition visible here explains why.

PP: adjusted levels and contrast, resized, sharpened, added border.

Oh this is lovely Karen,
I love the frayed white texture on the right,
Original and artistically created shot.
Nice tight crop too, well done!
- Vincent

great textures on this macro try upping the contrast in monochrome, not sure how but i think you could have fun playing with this.

Hola Karen,

Original composición me gusta la textura y la idea tan creativa. Buen trabajo.

saludos,

Pako

Hi Karen:
This is a very interesting study of textures light and composition here. The unraveled coils look very soft compared to the hard tight winding of the rope..... just like some couples I know....Thanks for this one Karen......Roman:0)
