Today's theme gives me the perfect excuse to post this interpretation of the Port of Oakland (California). The huge cranes fascinate me, especially after hearing the news stories about several of them being shipped here from China, fully assembled, and how their passage under the Golden Gate Bridge had to be carefully timed for low tide because they are so tall. They cleared by about 18 inches!
PP: shot in RAW, filter changes, edges, sharpened, border. (I did this a while ago so don't remember all the specifics.) |

Very geometric and intersting work in PP.

HI Karen
Very good photo for the negative.
The composition is good and the fact that you can read what is written on the cranes, makes it interesting and gives us a bit of symmetry of all those lines.

Hi Karen
18 inches! WOW... I love the colors on the containers on that HUGE ship... Very cool idea for the theme... I agree those cranes are HUGE and so many...

Classic photo painting.
Hi Karen:
I love to look at broken symmetry and it looks like you like it as well.... it gives a good sense of whimsy and takes the formality and seriousness out on the subject... Good stuff Karen....Roman;0)
