Crane HPP

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is another shot of one of the huge cranes that are used to load and unload ships at the Port of Oakland (California). I wanted to emphasize its lines and form a bit and got a little carried away:)
PP: RAW adjustments taken to extreme settings, gradient layer, resized, sharpened, added border. |

In simplifying the image you got a graphic art-like quality. The subject is not so obvious but the context is intriguing.

Hi Karen
To me this is a "tweener" - I understand what you were doing, but you didn't go far enough to get to the graphic image. Still too much "reality". Push the limits a bit further, more abstract. You're almost there to my eye.

Hi, Karen -
I like industrial images. This one has the feel of serious heavy machinery, with strong graphic lines. The PP work gives it terrific definition, wonderful colors and an almost alien atmosphere. Very creative, well done.
Hi Karen:
A nice industrial shot with a good idea to use a posterized style.... which enhances the straight lines of the crane.... The composition is well balanced our as well... Nice work Karen:0)....Roman:0)
HI Karen.
I like the simple lines, with enough detail to still recognise what it is. Great colour. Well captured / created.
best wishes
Rob :)
