Some more experimenting with my macro lens. This is the fabric-like cover of a notebook that was lounging around on my piano with nothing better to do:)
PP: standard RAW adjustments, cloned out a few little blemishes in the fabric, resized, sharpened, added border with a pattern overlay to extend the fabric impression, added stroke line. |

I am lucky. I just saw a beautiful yellow canary, and now this interesting yellow abstract were I can see; 1) "With yellow on orange, the yellow looks like a purer, lighter orange". 2) "That yellow is radiantly cheerful when contrasted with dark tones". I, also, like the texture of it. I enjoy your experiments. TFS

Another attractive experimental,Interesting composition for graphical look,IMO if you could push the angle of light to showed texture,It's must be interesting choice of presentation.Nice work,TFS.
Hello Karen,
An artistic composition!
The fabric is captured with good texture, and the colours are well reproduced...
I like the tilted framing with the strong diagonals!

Awesome macro, Karen! Love the sharp details of the texture of the fabric; great pattern and warm colors. I don't usually pay attention to added borders, but this one gets my thumbs up for really complimenting the image. Well done.
with a one color frame could be your photo perfekt!! I like it !!! but try please with white or black frame, you see that what great grafikal work you have here!!!
