[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Yesterday I was strolling around Berkeley which is one of the truly interesting places in the San Francisco Bay area. I saw this interesting looking man on the street, gave him some money and asked if I could take his picture. He agreed so I will present this one and one more. It occurred to me that most of us are in need of subjects and there are a great number of people like this man who need the money and have interesting histories which shows in their appearance. As long as we give them money first and respect their decision whether to be photographed or not, we all may benefit.

Excellent Roger both the image and the notes. Good tones and details which show up so well with the BW. I don't have the intestinal fortitude to ask people if I may photograph them. I should with so many migrants down this way. TFS,

Another great character Roger, I wonder what his story is. I reckon he was in a band, lived to excess and then couldn't cope with the pressure. But then I might just have an over active imagination! Nicely composed and I think B&W was a good choice here

Great street photograph you have here, Roger.

I also like street photography and document the life of some people, esp those of less-fortunate, not to put them down, but to reveal the real life on the other side of the world.
