[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I came upon these flowers on the sidewalk in front of a florist and thought they might make a nice contribution to the TE Scavenger Hunt. The image was later supplanted for that purpose by a more gritty, urban scene, but I still have a fondness for this luscious closeup and decided to post it here. Like the closeup I posted yesterday, I'm reminded of exploding fireworks rising in the sky. Enjoy!

A wonderfully executed macro Curtis, with very exceptional results. Very good detail with vibrant and vivid orange, yellow and green colours, I really like the composition and the way you have cropped the image.
Very well done on very good work.

Really great splash of colour here. Well composed and the focus is good too. Filling the frame with colour is certainly dramatic. Well done.

Not a typical shot form you but still good. I like your "who-cares" composition. The frame is well-chosen too.

This is a great crop - an explosion of natural color! I can't say there is much to improve it except not having what looks like a small amount of red brick poking through on the top and left (so I could believe this was taken growing wild in a field somewhere)
