Hi Vincent - almost looks like a scene from some post-apocalyptic world with the pp work you've done. OI like the use of the tree trunk in the foregound - it adds depth, perspective and some natural framing. Cool image.

Great experiment, Vincent. The tree in the foreground is really interesting with all of its tones and textures. Love the composition and the b&w conversion - it all conveys a strong mood. Well done.

Hello Vincent ,
Une photo expérimentale vraiment interessante .
On peut y voir la progression du bitume et du béton sur l'état de nature ou la constatation d'un monde uniforme et monochrome.
Bien vu

Hi Vincent,
This composition and your PP work give a surrealistic mood at this city! I like when an image cans tell us a story! The use of the tree in foreground places us in at the heart of action, hidden behind this tree, we could be spies about a psychologic war in this mysterious city! :)
I like much the depth and the faded blue tones!
Bravo! Annie

Hi Vincent,
I really like this view of San Francisco and the way you composed the shot with the Eucalyptus tree in FG. The PP work is very creative and gives the picture a different but very cool look to it. Very nicely done/

Hi Vincent
A superb result & it was strange to see so many eucalyptus trees (a native of Australia), in California. I felt right at home! A moody & atmospheric shot, with a superb tonal range. Tfs!

Hey..got interrupted last night before I could leave my critique! HAHA! I love this! The details on the FG and BG are great! Love that dramatic sky! Nice work on this! The blue tint is very nice also, it creates a mood!

Interesting pp Vincent - I like the silvery tone here.. The HDR merger has worked nicely and the composition is really very nice.. A good mix of rural v urban..
Good work

hi Vincent
I find your new profile photo to be very good; please keep it stagnant for a long while! I really am puzzled why so many photographers are good but kept a below par profile photo?
A nice experimental shot of HDR view of the bay with the city in the BG. Sometimes it is experiments like these that make us learn more quickly.

Bonjour Vincent,
J'ai vraiment l'impression d'être cachée derrière ce tronc et d'observer la ville au loin. Excellent POV.
Amicalement.

Nice work, it gives the impression of a vast wall of ice or rock looming above the city; in fact with a little more playing around with aperture and composition you could almost have created that scenario!
Great job

Hello Vincent
This photo is simply amazing; the POV behind the tree in the left, and the difuse focus in the distance, is very cinematographic and reminds me a perspective of a «sniper» coming close to a city in a «post apocalyptic world». The atmosphere is a fantastic «gothic high-fantasy» emphasised by the blue tone and the dramtic sky and soft misty around the buidings.
Excelent. Vicent «Machinelove» at his best.
Have a great we, mb
