[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This photogenic woman is NCAA Pole Vaulting Champion. Her natural body language made her stand out as a great photographic subject. This shot was converted to black and white using the Channel Mixer. As the Blue Channel was reduced the feeling of the shot changed as the light became softer.

Astounding lighting and POV.
Great detail and good b&w choice,

Regards,

Hi Roger,
Beside that she is beautiful, you captured her in a very atractive way. I love her concentration and her pose. The conversion to black and white and the rest of the PP made this a stunner.
TFS,
Niek

Hi Roger,

This is a very nice black and white composition. Your subject is extremely photogenic and I'm assuming that the pose is natural. Great timing, perfect in every way!

David

really bravo, Roger ......
to take this extraordinary pose in the middle of the contest, the beauty and the physical of
this athlete will help,
but...impressive management light, it seems that his face is illuminated by a lighting of the study, and the quality of details in this BW

best regards sERGIO

hello ROger,

I picked up a trick with channel mixer and fiddling with it. You've got amazing results, i'd try it sometime now. Thanks for sharing, bye.

Hello Roger ,

Very glamourous ans tender sport shot. Unusual in a very pleasant way. You have the prefect timing to capture this one.

A moment of reflection and concentration before the ultimate jump. Very well captured and presented. Great conversation in B&W for a softer mood.

Robert

ciao Roger..
i really love this kind of capture by you.. it's a remake of the past year selection..
great pose captured.. sense of thoughtful.. the delicious forms and expression
wonderful job indeed! bravo!! my compliments
ciao Marco

Your Berkeley shots are often an exercise as much in 'body language' and sports, as they are in eroticising the physique of the female athlete.

That much is evident in the choices you make in terms of delivery - soft light and tones, and poses and expressions that are more sensual than competitive.

In that respect I can only admire your work - I would do much the same, if I had the opportunity.

Great series.

hi roger

I really like the light illumination and the diagonal position of that pole up to the bottom corner, although I find the face sharpness a bit soft but the image is strong with contrast and she really stands out.

Hi Roger.

This is an incredibly nice capture of a real beauty. Great composition. The blurred background also help us keeping our eyes on the subjet thought it may be not necessary since her magnetism can be felt even through your picture. ;-)
