[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I'm a day late posting my postcard, so I hope I am forgiven Helen.
These fishermen are heading out for a Sunday morning of angleing on Sabrina Lake.
We had finished catching the sunrise on North Lake and drove to Sabrina to see the aspens at that location.

RAW image double processed in CS3 to deal with the high contrast.

Beautifully composed landscape Daniel.....
Yes, a very difficult contrast of the light - how about using neutral graduated filters to deal with this. I find them to be very useful in these situations.

Hi Daniel, the view is impressive, but I've some remarks though, I think it's a bit too much regarding all teh text in the frame and in the image itself. Secondly it's pitty the boats on the right hand foreground are not completely in view but partly cut. On the contrary the reflection is superb and so teh view on these mountains. A fine contribution to the FF theme!

Hi Dad

Nice work from Lake Sabrina. Too bad it was my fault we didn't spend a proper morning here :(
The double image RAW looks pretty good. I need to try this technique some day. Having been here at the same time I can certainly understand how hard it was to manage the light. I agree with Robert in that my eyes want to see more of the boats on the right. Outside of that, it's a pretty good presentation of what we saw.

Beautiful reflection on the water. A well composed image in great colors. Your panorama cropping makes this into one of those postcards that used to suffer the risk of getting a bit crumpled to their destination due to their non-standard size. Since the advent of the internet I unfortunately do not remember when it was last time I actually wrote a postcard...

Tibi

Hello Dan,
This is beautiful landscape shot with low pov.
I'm ok with partial view of boat on right, but the text takes little more attraction. :)

Hi Daniel
Great landscape and nice shot, warm colors, by using shadow/highlight adjustment you may achieve better light distribution.

Hey Daniel :-)
I think you've just about managed the contrast well. The exposure looks decent and I like the ripples in the water.
Well done.

Best regards, Daniel
