Another experiment! This is a blending of three images taken Saturday morning at North Lake the middle lake up the road from Bishop. I'm trying to post a panorama of the right ratio so that I'll be allowed to post a large version. (Well that didn't work. Back to the "drawing board" my ratio must have been off.)

PP: Three RAW images blended with CS3 - usual adjustments with levels, highlights/shawdows, framed, sized and sharpened.

Wow, lots of color here Daniel and I love the long crop! Nice clarity on this! Nice process here, I'm loving playing around with HDR!

Hi Dad

Overall I like the composition. I would like to see a tad more space above the hills on the top left hand side, but that's a minor thing. The reflection looks great and the colors are nice and vibrant. Including the tree in the foreground was an excellent choice.

In order to post a large version you need to make sure your pic has a 2.5:1 pixel ratio. I think that is how it works...

Superbly done mate :-) Gorgeous image indeed.

Hi Daniel,
Like your composition: the decreasing of the object towards the right corner.
The colors are great!
Well done,
Ruut

Great panoramic image with much to enjoy. I especially like the colors flowing into the water and absorbed there in the reflection, garnished by the bare tree branches in the foreground. Good choice of POV and excellent light, with pleasant shadows defining the shapes in the hills. I agree with Mike about the space at the top left, but the increase of space toward the right seems to work in its favor. Wonderful shot!

And another success Dan... exquisitely rendered. Very beautiful detail, colors, and composition. TFS

Hi Dan,
The blazing yellow-golden colors contrast brilliantly with the arid mountains as they make a striking reflection in the calm lake.
The sharpness and details are right on the money here.
Regards, Tom
