This works! Strong use of compositional elements - road, treeline - and a good decision here to use the vertical format. Eyes tend to settle (mine at least) on that sunlit rock in the middle distance, but that's no bad thing.

Good to see another post from our most excellent weekend trip. I'm very impressed with how your controlled the lighting on this one. It looks very well balanced considering the conditions. Like Rew mentioned my eyes tend to fixate on the bright rock, but that is a minor thing considering how truly effective this shot is.

Beautiful soft warm light and lots of leaf details to enjoy here. I like the road leading into the image with more earthy texture/color and dappled shadows. The rock at the side of the road adds an extra point of interest and curiosity. Great shot:)
