[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another shot taken at Pt. Lobos, just south of Carmel, along the California coast. Most of my recent vacation was taken up by a vicious cold, but I did manage to get out one day and shake off my cabin fever by driving the two hours it takes to get there and spending a few hours taking in the beautiful scenery and salty sea breezes.

PP: standard RAW adjustments, tweaked contrast/saturation/shadows, resized, sharpened, added border, converted to JPEG/TL ready, sharpened again.

Hi Karen,

Beautiful shot of the scene. I like the details and sharpness. Good PP and nicely composed.
Well done!

Regards,
Geoffrey Bin Ramji

What a lovely POV here, Karen. Deep blue sea! :)
Love to play and swim there!
I like how you framed your shot with the natural elements as border. Some moire and white fringes on the branches atop due to jpeg compression but it's so very minimal.
TFS,
Freddie :)

Hi Karen,
What an amazing capture and perspective
Wonderful colors and effects
Have a nice weekends

Oh, what a pretty sight....the water seems to never end. Pretty natural framing too.

Hi Karen
Simply a beautifully composed image with the natural framing - colors are vibrant. I agree with Freddie and think there may be one to many sharpening. Try going back to the original Raw image, do every thing the same, but eliminate the initial sharpening. Put them both on the monitor at 100% and see if there is a difference.

Dan

I agree with Daniel Karen, one sharpen only and that should be the final bit of PP. A lovely image regardless, nicely composed, good colour and fine detail,
David
