[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
When I first moved to California I had to learn to recognize this natural hazard, Western poison-oak. During late summer and fall it is easier to spot because the leaves turn red. So I only go hiking in the fall when I can spot it! ;)

Hi Karen,
This is a very interesting plant, well presented, I've never seen such an oak, even though I've been to Caifornia seveal times :).
Excellent sharpness and details, well chosen frame colour.
Great job!
TFS.
Greetings,
Kristof

Hi Karen
Been there and done that. We had acrage in the foothills that had to be cleared. Had to deal with this stuff constantly. There is even a poison oak festival up here in the fall. Nasty stuff!
