[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The infinite spaces of Death Valley provide interesting horizons. The little white sliver where the road appears to end is Badwater, the lowest point in North America at 282 feet below sea level. While the subject is centered in the picture, I think it makes a compelling composition . . . but then who knows???

The light is that delightful early morning desert light.

Hey David,
The lighting is indeed delightful!
The color palette is quite nice and as for the composition, I like what it does for my eyes.
Great view and I guess you had no problems with traffic :O)

Hello David
Just simply beautiful........ There seems to be some growth, must be late spring or early summer.
Thank you
Paul

David,
This picture has a wow factor. The depth. I think it's a great one. I too LOVE the early morining light. I prefer dawn over dusk. There is the "few" moments of dusk and dawn that are mystic and so beautiful. This picture is so full of lines and textures it makes it seem surreal. I wonder if you took any shots placing your camera on the road (from a lower perspective)? Very nice image.

It is in true sense infinity. Can you share something more regrading this, I want to visit that place one day.

Interesting is the least you could say about this horizon, David. Beautiful compo where this road draws our eyes to the distance. Nice, soft colours all around. I think scenery like this calls for a panoramic image, though... to emphasize the wideness of the landscape.
TFS.

A beautiful landscape David. Bravo.

This picture reminds me of the Arizona Highways calendar (do they still exist ?) great photograph, love the endless road, great colors, and I like the different layers in this photo too.
