[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shot was among the first I took after finding my way to this happy little island of peace and tranquility in cyberspace filled with irrelevence and unhappiness. I took it while walking a favorite trail with camera in hand for the first time. It languished in my computer like a poor orphan until I discovered tools in Photoshop that permitted me to give the image back its life. With the Shadow/Highlight tool I was able to bring out details while maintaining contrast, all of which enhanced the image and brought it closer to what I saw by the trailside that brought me to a stop. I explosion of color reminds me of fireworks one sees on the Fourth of July, America's celebration of its independence. Enjoy.

hi Curtis..very nice picture..and something amazing for me as wave have this plant only in purple here :) I shot some when I was in the village last time..we can make up a theme :)
