| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
I took this at Don Edward wildlife refuge southeast of San Francisco Bay where patches of colorful salt ponds can be seen by bayshore. I like the ruin-like simple shape of wood structure standing out of stillwater with diagonal shading from yellow, green, blue to white. The ruin of a bridge is leading upward to a different diagonal direction and provide an interesting symmetry between (abstract)color shade and (concrete)object shape.

I received a very comment about the contrast, so I made some change and repost. |

This is a interresting shot.
The composition is fine and water ripples are well rendered.
I like the luminosity, instead some "burned whites".
BRavo !
Very nice mood, I like the softness of the wood as well, it works nicely. Well done.

Hi Vicly, well seen I think and I like the title, it suits it. Reminds you of the 'ruin' in the shot. Again, great composition, colours, a pic you could look at a long time. Well done. Cheers, Karey.

I like the composition. It seems an abstract picture
J'aime la netteté, la profondeur de champs. Cette image est magique! Bravo pour ton travail!
I love it, it has a strong composition and beautiful natural tone. the colour combination is stunning and the water pattern is interesting, what a picture.
