[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was at Laguna Beach taking pictures of my wife on some rocks ( this is not her ). This girl, and I presume her daughter, came over to where my wife and I were taking pictures and sat on this rock. I turned behind me and saw that they were sitting in the same way. I thought it captured a special moment between the two. Hope you like it.

Hi Jeff,
In short, I like the pose, and I think it could potentially make a great photo. However I'm not sure I like the central composition too much, and I think the photo could benifit from a slight contrast boost.

I like it Jeff, a nice moment, maybe a bit more space on left.

Great Capture and the color is okay.Like what they mention ahead of me it is too centered.Keep shooting:)

Welcome to Treklens. I wish you a lot of fun with this nice bunch of photography lovers.....

You did the same mistake I did in one of my first posting (*_*) Check it out here . And see the WS I received here . Got the point ? Remember to off center your subject for a better composition. Therefore here , I would crop the space right of the rock completely.

Great colors , Great light! For the next time I would also recommend you to get down on your knees as well (^_^) to lower your POV in order to be at a better level. You would shoot than horzontally. This way , you would have captured both, the sea, the horizon, and most likely what they were looking at.(^_^)
Cheers!
Robert

I read your forum entry, I think this photo is fine, well composed and not at all an invasion of privacy....

Well done!

Hello:

Read about the rule of third in photography? Well that should have been applied here. Anyway, this shot is just ok. But I hopw I could see the horizon. by you going down to the sand and positioning you camera for us to see the horizon. Hmm its a minor thing. Great detail though.

TFS.

Love this shot, a very tender moment. I would guess this is the babysitter, not the mother, based on her figure, LOL! Well done.
