Nice clarity in this shot; lots of nice detail on the flower. Hard to photograph flowers in their natural environment because the background is rarely good: you did a very good job here!

Nicely captured, Silke, though maybe a bit edgy at the top (just minor details). Nice dappled light and good colours. Nice work on ensuring the background is not too distracting. Well done!

Hi Silke,
Magnificent capture of this very particular flower. The DOF is perfect with the blurred BG so this doesn't disturb the main object. Maybe I would have increased the saturation slightly, but that is a matter of personal taste. Anyhow wonderful image my dear Silke! TFS.

This is good & like the frame! Looks like a plant called a red hot poker I planted one year, but the spikes were tasty to my Dalmatian I had & she ate them before I could enjoy their beauty! Don

Incredible details and sharpness on this! I have a VERY similar plant in my garden and I just call it my "firecracker" plant..and th dragon flies, hummingbirds and bees love it!
