[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is a photograph of a fire escape on a Long Beach Building at Ocean Avenue. The building is 9 stories high and there is a series of fire escape landings from second floor to the top floor. I isolated the image of one fire escape landing and the shadows around it to set up a balanced composition. It is a very old building. You can see that the fire escape landing is not the pre-fabricated type. Every balustrade is riveted at the top and bottom rail. Like some of my photographs this is a play of image and patterns.

I like these types of architectural images, but the image quality could be better.
