[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was going up the stairway towards a bridge over-pass connecting the Long Beach Promenade to the Long Beach Convention Center when I saw this one duck enjoying itself. I took a picture of it but the resulting photograph is so dull. I decided to play around with it in Photoshop. It is very hard to remember all the steps I went thru to get to this finished "water color like" digital art, or digital photo art.
PP: >Adjusted Levels control; >Increased saturation; >Filter>Artistic>Watercolor, then played around with it to suit my taste; >I started isolating areas to blur with Gaussian Blur and areas to sharpen with USM; in between these moves I keep going back to Levels Control for adjustment; finally after I am happy with it, I cropped to the composition I want; framed the digital photo art; applied noise reduction and saved the work. I hope I did not forget anything.

See WS for original photo.
