[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After take-off from LA Airport we flew through the clouds over Long Beach revealing this moody scene. It's another in the series of "through the window" with infinity focus and tad bit underexposed to get the real details.

Normally this looks like an industrial wasteland.

I messed with the levels and did a bit of USM to get this result

Very nice shot of the Long Beach waterfront David. I have never seen it this way. They have cleaned up downtown Long Beach now specially the waterfront area. The industrial part is the one on the lower left hand corner. Ocean Park boulevard is the long white stretch by the water line, where they hold the Long Beach grand Prix. Downtown is the area on the left, acroos the water from the industrial area. TFS.

Hmmmmmmmmm........ Hmmmmmmm....... (I AM STILL THINKING... :D)... WOKAI... Here it is... :D... Is it OUR PLANET was the question that popped up in my mind the moment I saw it... LOL! Then I read the note and exclaimed... YES! LOL! Beautiful one David... That golden lines form a look-alike a mettalic sheet... Reminds me of star-wars... I think U need to send this one and the graphics director would certainly make a model of it and place it in his series... :D ... WONDERFUL composition and a very very very very (Now I could continue that ON ON and ON :D) amazing PP. :D... The colors are amazing ! :D BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL! :D I cant take off my eyes from this :D Thanks for sharing and hope U go on many more trips and share with us such amazing shots :D

I don't take the plane very often, that's why I'm always impressed with such impressive pictures. The POV is trully amazing, as well as the clouds at to teh mood. Great JOB!
