Continuing with the Napa Valley Wine Train, this is a shot of the dining car where my friends and I were served a gourmet lunch. The train ride is about three hours round trip, so there are two lunch sittings...one during the outbound portion and the other during the return. While one group is having lunch, the other passengers are served appetizers or dessert in the lounge (posted here yesterday). The food is delicious, prepared on board by professional chefs and a fully outfitted/staffed kitchen.

A delightful way to spend time with friends in a unique experience:)

PP: standard RAW adjustments, balanced highlights/shadows a bit, added border, resized, sharpened, jpegged.

Hi Karen,

This one works for me...this is real nice.
Checking your previous post...I kind of making a comparation. I find this one more refine, more centered, and symetrical. Wonderfull details, and colours..great shadows and highlights balanced...perfect exposure. well done.

....and an expensive way to spend your hard-earned money too ,well i assume ,,,lolol , nevertheless Karen it'is a superb picture, i have not seen this type of scene in a while or maybe i do not look hard enough hihi but good details here and a fine DOF that takes the viewer's eye way down that aisle, you handled the one-sided light quite well too ,
interesting capture indeed,
TFS,
Carol

I can't decide which I like better Karen, this one or yesterdays! I love that ambient light, really nice work on this! Very symmetrical! Nice levels on this!

Wow, Karen! This is a great shot! The clarity of focus, colors, depth created by the aisle, tables and chairs . . . plus it's interesting to me to see the interior of this train. I've heard about it for years . . . and could NEVER afford to take the trip, so now I get to do so vicariously! hehehehehehe :O)

Another great image from inside this Wine Train Karen.
I love how inviting this feels. It seems warm and comfortable.
Great repetition with the chairs and windows.
A center aisle that is a perfect lead in.
Well done.

This is another good shot of what is apparently a very charming tour. I had heard of this, and wish that our itinerary could have included it on my recent trip to California. Good POV and clarity. The colors are warm and I really like the way the sun (as well as the overhead lights) bring your eye down the aisle.
