Garden Courtyard 2
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Here is another shot from the same courtyard as yesterday's post, taken at an open garden event to showcase the professional landscaping. This is also another experiment with the Orton effect, much less saturated this time. Better, yes?
PP: standard RAW adjustments, gaussian blur layer, some saturation, blended mode darken, resized, added border. |

Hi, Karen -
Yes, I like this one quite a bit. The Orton effect is subtle but eye-catching, and your composition helps make this a really nice image, with the spikey plants staggered from front to back. Good result to this experiment.
Hola Karen.
Un jardín precioso, en el que con un poco de calma y mucho ojo haás buenas capturas.
Saludos, JL.
This is a really interesting effect Karen.
I like the way the colors seem muted, but yet still strong.
Look forward to seeing more of it!

Hi Karen:
The Orton style is quite nice, I tried it myself and had fun results with it,I like what you did with this one it has a water colour feel to it,which is very pleasing. The composition is well organized as well.... thanks Karen... well done...Roman:
