[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the third and final view of China Cove from our November trip to China Camp State Park on San Pablo Bay north of San Francisco. Same pier as the last two images but slightly different POV with more emphasis on the rocks in the FG.

PP: RAW image processed in Nikon Capture NX , kicked up the saturation, framed and sized.

Hi Daniel,
What a perfect composition of this moodish view. The jetty in the distance is a nice detail, the low POV with the rocks on the foreground creates a superb depth. One remark; the horizon isn't level, not much but it is. Anyway a fine posting Dan!
Hans

Ok, since I'm tightening my belt at the urgence of others, I have to say this is a super shot, however, the curve of the wide angle causes a tilt in the horizon. Lemme see if I can do a WS on it...or maybe it's just my new glasses! HA!

Hello Daniel,

You have captured a moody and tranquil scene here! The colours in the sky are warm and reassuring! I like the way you have caught them speading ever feinter over the sea! The framing adds a lot to the overall effect!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi !
Tres belle image boonie mais le titre prend trop de place a mon gout.Le cadre également..Cela attire trop l'attention et la photo semble du coup enferméee.Enfin c'est un style! On aime ou on aime pas! ;D
Bonne continuation.

Hi Daniel, I love the tones here especially the glow of the rocks. Nicely composed, good light and softer detail. Not sure about the horizon, fading distance, bay curving or a range of hills? It may just be an optical illusion.TFS,
David

hi dan, good shot, good comp.dof, i guess if i was to be really fussy, i would of tried a n/grad filter (but thats just me!)
good shot still
thanks scott
