This started out as a old and plain shot of a white orchid. I tried a few experiments:) I had a few other ideas (such as making the edges of the petals crisper), but they didn't work out once it got to this point, so decided to stay with this version.
PP: gradient layers, duplicate layer with cut-out section and erasure to create pop-out, omni light effect, resized, sharpened, border. |

As usual some highly creative and unique approaches from you Karen.
This is an exquisite result of post processing work.
Must have been a really good shot to begin with,
This blue color is really attarctive.
Something with the light source feels more centered to me than the subject really is? if that makes any sense.
Still, it's a great piece or work,
Well done!

Hi Karen:
This posting reminds me o art work done on a ceramic vase or plate or even a water colour painting, I like the colour here done with a soft focus and very well organized on the canvass another very interesting piece of work.... thanks for a great idea......Roman:0)
