[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I was rambling around the edge of San Francisco Bay at the San Rafael shoreline, looking for photo opportunities when I came upon this scene with its inviting sign and delightful colors. I'm not suggesting of course, that the live bait is to be served on the adjacent sailboat. It probably is for local fishermen, but the sign and title came together quite spontaneously and with a bit of humor. I hope you have a chuckle as well...

Welcome to TL Curtis and congratulations on a great shot! Beautiful texture and colour in a superb composition. Very well done! What is really interesting, is the combination of old and new (sign post and jetty vs beautiful boats).

Welcome to TL Curtis. I hope to see many more posts from you.

What a great title for this shot. Only thing missing now would be a fish lying on the "table" ;) I agree with Dave that a thighter crop at the top would enhance the picture and bring forth the chair and "table". Somewhere right above the sign would be good. I think even a more aggresive crop would work, just above the chair even...You have caught wonderfull colours and a nice structure. Overall the picture cold use some sharpening, either with Unsharp mask or high pass filter (if these tools are avaiable for you). That would bring out even more structure. One thing i really like is how the red pole also continues under the pier, this gives the illusion of a water reflection. Really nice effect.

Good job Curtis!
