This is another of the many orange images I captured as possibilities for the TE Scavenger Hunt. I took this shot at a local health food store called Whole Foods, which specializes in organic and natural products. I was actually shopping for a friend, but had my trusty camera hanging from my neck. The abundance of brilliant colors and repetitive patterns was almost too much for this man to tolerate. I was shooting right and left until a woman who worked there told me to stop. I was violating store policy!?! So I stopped, but I had already collected many images that will no doubt appear here or at TE. Perhaps I should create a theme called "At the Market."

This is a display of Mexican papayas cut in half to reveal the bright orange flesh as well black seeds at the center, all covered with plastic wrap. I leaned far over the display to block the overhead lights as much as possible. The composition is intuitive and production fairly minimal with Shadows/Highlights, Levels and minimal USM.

Hola Curtis: I appreciate this picture a lot, I tried to take a picture to my breakfast the other day: papaya itched in a plate with colors orange and yellow and it stops my it is very difficult to obtain a satisfactory result, if to this you add him the shine of the pulp, of the seeds and in general of the fruit, the juicy and fresh, is also reflected, however, I believe that it is interesting to photograph foods, and to carry out tests from different angles. I like the angle and the handling of the illumination that you managed. Excellent tones in yellow and orange. Happy weekend. Saludos Cordiales. *Ninfa Urania*

Nice shot. The plastic cover spoils the shot. But I still like it. I like your "who-cares" composition and the colors. And yes, I love papayas. Good for metabolism.

Excelent photo. i love it. Goes to favorites. I like the texture and the colors. Well done.
