[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
At a street painting festival I attended with friends on Saturday, this young girl was so intent on her art that she was totally unaware of the people stopping to watch her work and take pictures. When she was done, she carefully closed her box of pastels, making sure the paper sheets that cover the pastel sticks were lined up neatly before she put the lid over them, and finished with a rubber band around the box to keep everything safe inside. Amazing:)

BTW, I tried a lower POV to capture more of her face, but was not happy with the trash bin that was then visible in the background.

Another really nice one Karen. Great comp again, great colorful shot. Maybe a slightly lower POV might have been good, to see a little bit of the ... girls(?) face. I know, you were likely already low, and short of lying on the artwork, it might have been difficult to get lower.
Great job though. Nice series.

Hi Karen,
The vibrant colors in the thumbnail drew me in. I really like this capture and the girl seems to be very focused on her artwork. Nice shot.
Regards,
Kevin

Another great shot! Colourful, with good placement of subject and good use of light. I think your POV works very well here, it shows enough of her intense expression to know exactly what's going on!

Hi Karen:
This is a beautiful unposed portrait you captured Karen, wonderful bright happy colour, well composed and there is enough of the face to see the concentration in the child's eye without being able to identify .... brilliant photo...........thanks ....Roman:0)

hi Karen
great shot of a great moment
excellent colours and composition
thanks for your nice comment on
"magic moment".
best regards

A very good capture Karen,

the child is in herself a very fine and interesting subject, taken in a spontaneous gesture and action full of grace, but the colourful drawings on the floor really make it richer and brighter with chromatic contrasts. I do like the pov you chose and I think the framing is perfect with the child and her arm creating a diagonal.
Compliments,
Donato
