Here is my second experiment with this type of frame. I actually was able to get a couple of petals outside the border this time, but learned that they must have picked up some ghosting from the bevel settings that I used to give shape to the edges. Oh, well...the surprises are educational...lol.
Any pointers?
The blossom was one of the many delightful discoveries in the various sections of the meandering landscape of a private garden that was open to the public on Mother's Day. One of the most unique features of the property was their old built-in swimming pool that they had drained and filled with plantings, leaving a shallow water garden at the bottom:)

nice capture karen! i like your composition here! it shows the vivid colors of the flower contrasting the color of the green background! i like your framing as well!
