[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In continuing my series from the Redwood Hill Creamery, this is a shot of Camillia Cheese that is in the same curing room seen in yesterday's post of Gravenstein Gold Cheese. The cheese in view here is in its early stages of aging/curing in an environment where temperatures and humidity controlled for proper mold growth. Further down this row of racks were cakes of cheese that were covered with a fuzzy white mold. I found it hard to get a good shot of them because they all looked blurry:)

PP: standard RAW adjustments, straightened vertical bit, resized, sharpened, added border.

A very unique post here Karen.
Love the white circles on these silver grates.
Verticle format was a perfect choice.
Good eye for detail and design as usual.
Nice one!

Beautiful repetition.

Well sone on this batch of cheese - the cheese rack corner is in perfect focus top to bottom. Major challenge with the lighting top to bottom and you did ok. Like to see what f/8 at 1/15 would look like. But again you probably didn't have time as they rush you through the tour. Well done.

Dan

Hi, Karen -
Great graphic patterns with the repetitive and perfectly identical round cheeses on the angled linear racks. You managed the artificial lighting very well, especially given the changing intensity from top to bottom. Good sharpness shows the pores in the cheese and the details of the stainless racks. Interesting subject, well captured.

Hi Karen:
Somehow this yummy looking cheese reminds me of an old silent move called Metropolis or maybe yet another called Brazil.... this is the feel this pic creates, which makes me stare into it for some reason... I love this one Karen.... thanks....Roman:0)

nice rhythmical shot. could be a great abstract with more PP work and forgetting about the cheese just using the shapes.
Try it. LOL Jancsi

i Like your choice of subject and the light and shadow is nice. I have done a workshop offering an alternative perspective. I hope you like.
Warm regards
David
