[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Little late getting this added to the Theme. But as they say ....... The lovely pond is located at the east end of the Tioga Pass Road that crosses Yosemite National Park. Of course it is currently impassable because of snow, but sometime in April all the Sierra Mountain passes will be plowed and open to traffic.

Happy St. Patrick's Day to one and all. Be sure to wear a wee bit of green on the 17th.

Alovely capture of a very tranquil setting for the green theme. W ith such a lovely setting i think its a shame a wide lens could not have been used or stiching two pics together so we could see more but very nice as it is

Very nice. I love Yosemite, unfortunately I was into photography when I lived in Fresno.

A very enjoyable combination of green tones, textures, and reflections! I also like the verticals working with the horizonals in the composition, "garnished" by the diagonal branch in the foreground. Excellent:)

I like the different layers in this shot.Lots of different shades of green and lots of beautiful textures.
The light on the branch is a good feature;the branch brings all the elements together.

Hi Dan,
Grand capture of this soothing landscape with its lush green colors everywhere. The varying tones are very peaceful and the little bit of blue sky a nice touch.
