[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Dia' de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) is a religious holiday immediately following Halloween and originated in Latin countries. This young man is actually on stilts, but what I most liked about the photo is the expression of his eyes, and/or his face in general. I also like the tearing of his shirt and the ornaments on his drums. What do you think? It's not the most clear image I've posted because I had to crop it, but I love the mood.

Haven't been posting for a while . . . other things on my mind. Sorry.

Great costume and face paint. I like the amount of space you left around the upper part of the image, framing the drummer in the simple darkness so that he stands out dramatically. The black of his costume doesn't get lost, and the white shredded shirt makes for good mood/detail. You captured his expression at just the right time! Looks like challenging conditions, yet a shot well done:)

Hello Richard,

Many years ago i saw a James bond movie (Moonrake) and there was a scene in a sort of carnaval.
Youre pictures of Dia'de los Muertos reminds me of that movie.

That was in the late 70's

Regards Mark
