[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Thousands of people join together on November 2nd to celebrate, mourn & laugh at one of life's inevitabilities, death. It's an ancient tradition in many Latin countries and San Francisco, in its unique way participates with zeal. I've seen this skeleton in previous years and the person inside relishes his experience by bouncing around and displaying his wonderfully weird costume. In the night the bones appear to more and come to life; a great addition to the festival.

On a more serious side, there are altars to commemorate the dead which hold objects, photos, food and other memorabilia to remember these lost loved ones.

Hi Richard,
This is a wonderfully weird skeletal costume. I might have cloned out the white square above the woman's head, but nice image nonetheless. Thanks for sharing.
Regards,
Greg

Hello Richard,

nice shot.

Yipes...the size of that skeleton is pretty scarey compared to the girl in his grasp! Good shot, and glad you got away safely:)
