This is my coworker and best friend Chuck. We took up flying electric R/C planes a few years ago and this shot is from the flightline of our Club.
We're too old and poor to fly real airplanes but these little foam models are just a hoot, makes us feel like kids again.
300mm f/l shot in full auto. The camera picked
ISO 100 and I was standing about 20 foot away.
No cropping, bumped brightness a hair and tried adding the border for the first time, a trick shamelessly borrowed from Cloverstar 8^) |

A candid shot full of happiness and enjoyment. It's just great to see grown men playing with their toy airplanes. It's a great hobby too and nice to get away from work with your friends. Nice work with the zoom. And oh, GREAT job with the frame. Please feel free to try any of my techniques or methods. It's only a good idea if I can share it with others.
Remember... only grow up if you want to.
Nice candid photo of a friend. He has a great smile and seems like a very likable guy. The lighting is nice too. I would suggest also getting a photo with the model planes in the frame too. Maybe you did already though. :) Nice job. JP
