[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Arangetram is a Tamil word meaning ‘ascending the stage’. This ceremonial performance of traditional devadasi sadir, the sacred temple dance of South India, is a momentous occasion that occurs after many years of dance training. By crossing over this threshold the dancer deepens her devotion and dedication to her guru, the lineage and tradition. The arangetram is one of the greater peaks that she must ascend on the path the sublime truth of the dance.

Romona has studied the Balasarswati style of devadasi sadir since she was a young girl... her teachers, Srimati Shyamala of Chennai and Laurissa of Boulder. This lineage maintains the original integrity and purity of this living tradition as embodied prayer, devotion and surrender to divine grace.

very good composition, excellant tones and very mystical feeling with her eyes closed in depth (even without your notes)..and thans a lot for the notes too..
would be excellant for TE too..

now this is a photo i can sink my teeth into

her epression is expressionless but yet she is evoking a mood with her face

she is good and she is beautiful which helps

i love how i see her hands and the background is blurred
