[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Night photography is always a challenge, especially when it's a bit chilly outside. We'd just had 24" of snow & I wanted to continue to do some photographic studies of multi-exposure images - in this case - HDR. I'm learning that surfaces of any sort that are not black seem to show up with a more interesting effect. Things such as the sky or distant objects do not really show up with any extra special 'look'. It seems that HDR is most effective on interiors and external structures... even people I suppose as long as it is relatively close up. In this image, the dynamic range is increased and it seems to allow more saturation... perhaps to the nth degree... sure does look cold though & it was!

Taken at the Botanic Gardens - Canon 30D w/ Tokina 12-24mm - cropped image.

What a mystification, with your use of colors and saturation! Your POV is great.
Congratulations! Marine

Do you know the fairy tale of the twelve months?
Your picture made me think to that.
