| This is one of the first black and white marco flora shots. These are buds on a floral plant that hails from south africa i believe. It is a common garden flower here as the climate is simmular, and has a fascinating bloom cycle. The buds are full of line and texture, and form in groups- making for fascinating composistions. Many of the shots taken in the series of this plant are of a single plant throughout the cycle- often of the same set of buds and blooms. This shot is day one of the study- which lasted for apx. 5 weeks. |
