Actually I was just setting up my camera and asked my son who was playing around to just stand there a second so I could snap a photo. And what do you know it turned out okay. He's such a good sport. Before you say hey that shadow in the background is distracting... I know I know, like I said I was just trying to set things up and told him to stand there. I got other pictures that the shadow didn't show up, this one just looked fun to me. So you can say it if you want but I already know ;) For PP I just turned it black and white, cropped a bit, and softened the edges cause his shirt was nasty dirty. So was his face that's why I softened it a bit too. Ha its always fun when you just take pictures of your loved ones in spur of the moment. Sure its not a perfect picture but who cares now I have a good shot of my son that he can have when he's my age. Ohh btw he does love skateboarding. He doesn't just carry a board around with him for no reason. ;)
Thanks and I hope you enjoy.

The soft filter doesn't serve the message/title. The BW either. Not a bad shot but the PP work kills it.
One of the best kid's pictures i've ever seen! I know that shadows are not usually wanted but i really like it. it adds a lot to this particular photo
